Please be advised of some internet marketing concerns that our customers have brought to our attention.
Essence of Argan – we have received many complaints from customers confusing us with Essence of Argan. Essence of Argan promise to send a free sample of argan oil (just a 15ml bottle) and charge only postage. However, they take customers’ credit card details and, in the small print on their website, they say they will charge around £80 per month to send out further 15ml samples until the agreement is cancelled (compare this to our standard price of £4.50 for a 15ml sample). Unfortunately, some of our customers have been caught in this trap and several hundreds of pounds have been taken off their credit cards before they have been able to cancel the agreement.
We, on the other hand, do not retain customer’s credit or debit card details following a purchase from us. We use a secure, reputable and reliable third party card processing company, Sage Pay, to process all our online orders. We would never take a payment unless it is for a purchase you are making at that time and not unless you specifically instruct us to do so.
Enjoy Argan Oil – this company has copied our product by using the same bottle, a similar design and a very similar website address; but it is not our pure Simply Argan oil. This has led to some of our customers complaining that they have bought oil from this company believing they are repeat buying from us, only to find they have not purchased our premium product. As a gesture of goodwill, if you have unfortunately been caught by this then you can send us the bottle of Enjoy Argan Oil and we will send you a replacement same size bottle of Simply Argan Oil at no cost to you. We will even cover the postage cost of sending our product to you.
